WHAT DO YOU SEE AS THE PURPOSE OF LIFE ?
Everyday that passes by, leaves me with this re-occuring line, "what do you see as the purpose of life?" and every other moment, I get to ask people the same question, if you are reading my blog at the moment , do you mind giving me your response to this grueling question.
Looking through the labyrinths of life, the sudden burst of economic activities at sunrise all over the world, the continous race for time, and the endless pursuit of man for heart desires, that mosttimes, leaves our lives lacerated with all sorts of skemishes; like divorce, heart breaks, illness, suicide and even deaths.
At the ebb of our lives, in quiet of our morning, we crave for life's pleasures and the single thought of a means of achieving this is by acquiring wealth. We toil in all our youth, globe trot, searching rutlessly for pleasures (so we thought) not minding whose Ox is gouge and after acquiring this, we then get an hacienda on the country side, where we can resign and wake up in the quiet of the morning just like it was at the ebb of our lives.
The Bill Gates of stupendous wealth, boxed competitors to their agonies, all in a bid to make money and on making it, he decides to give it all away, Warren Buffett was even the more amusing one , making all the money and gives them to Bill Gates to help him donate to charity.
Yet it is in this same life that we have the likes of Mohandas Gandhi. In my reverie, I get to ponder a lot about the place of fulfillment in all this, would you say Gandhi was a more fulfilled man when compared to Bill?.
Well if you ask me, I will say, my response depends heavily on what you see as the purpose of life. so please lets relate, share with me your response.

Talking about fulfilment, for me I think fulfilment is that feeling you get when everything you have done so far (I leave the time span of "so far" to you) gives you a sense of accomplishment. In other words, you might want to say that fulfilment is a sense of accomplishment. I'm sure that a lot of people feel fulfilled when they accomplish everything on their "to do" list.
It may take a life time for most of us to actually discover our purpose in life thats where intuition and conscience come in.
The question would be that "are you fulfiled in what you do?" if so, then perhaps thats your purpose in life. For me, I believe that fulfilment from the works of our minds and hands is a really important precursor to our purpose in life.
